ASSISTANT INFORMATION SYSTEMS ENGINEER

 We are looking for a motivated entry-level engineer to assist in analyzing, planning, implementing, maintaining, troubleshooting and enhancing large complex systems and networks consisting of a combination that may include servers, mainframes, mini-computers, LANs, and WANs.

The ideal candidate is eager to learn the fabrics, storage arrays, physical and logical components that integrate Viewlogies systems together as an enterprise networking platform.

What You’ll Do

  • Assists in providing day-to-day operational support for server, storage or network infrastructures

​

  • Implements changes to infrastructure with the goal of enhancing performance

  • Assists with storage and server data backup, data migration and disaster recovery operations

​

  • Provides technical support (help desk) to users by troubleshooting problems related to network or platform performance

Who You are

  • An associate degree in computer science or a closely related field from an accredited college or university

​

  • Ability to troubleshoot

  • Ability to work through unfamiliar networking technologies

​

  • Empathy and strong communication skills
